The Windup Watch Fair is returning to where it all began, New York City. Back in 2015, we hosted the very first Windup Watch Fair in a small storefront in SoHo. Fourteen brands signed on to take part in what was an untested event, organized by a young company that was just getting started in the watch world. Soon we were hosting Windup in the world-famous Chelsea Market, showcasing watches from over 30 brands and welcoming thousands of watch enthusiasts over the Windup weekend.
Well, in 2022, we’re taking the NYC Windup Watch Fair to a whole new level. We’ve outgrown Chelsea Market and will be moving the party to a new location that is nearly twice the size of the previous Windup venue. Over 60 brands will be presenting their products and there will be a dedicated space for breakout events and presentations.
The Altman Building – 135 W 18th St, New York, NY 10011
October 21 – 12pm to 6pm
October 22 – 12pm to 6pm
October 23 – 12pm to 5pm
For the uninitiated, the Windup Watch Fair is a three-day-long shopping event that brings watch brands and customers together in a fun, approachable, and engaging environment. We’ll be joined by over 60 brands spanning watches, apparel, EDC, and more, making this our largest show yet! Always free and open to the public, the Windup Watch Fair encourages everyone from seasoned collectors to first-time watch buyers to come in, take a look, and talk watches. There will also be a full bar and lounge.
This year we’ll have not one, but FIVE lead sponsors: Christopher Ward, G-SHOCK, Junghans, Oris, and Zodiac. Not only will these sponsors be bringing their latest and greatest watches to show and sell, they will also be creating great original content and programming. These engagements range from panel discussions to interactive installations, to retrospective product galleries featuring game-changing watches from throughout the years.

As with our previous Windup Watch Fairs, we’re taking advantage of the improved online Fair experience on windupwatchfair.com. The site includes a shoppable index of new products, a video library, a calendar of events, and more. Whether in-person or online, there’s something to dig into at the Windup Watch Fair.
In the coming weeks, we’ll provide additional updates, sneak peeks of what’s in store, and a full lineup of programming taking place during the fair. In the meantime, be sure to follow along on Instagram and sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date.
We’re going all out in NYC this year. You won’t want to miss it!
